greenfan bipolar ionizer

The greenfan® bipolar ionizer deactivates the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 based on BSL-3 laboratory tests performed by Innovative Bioanalysis. The bipolar ionizer product is Intertek Verified Zero Ozone to meet UL 2998, certified to CSA C22.2 #187, conforms to UL 867, and CARB certified (EO number G-22-124). The 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) Ozone for the product is 0.0 parts per million by volume (ppmv) when tested in a 30-meter cubed (m3) chamber. The product electrically connects to fan G, heat W, and common terminals and is installed on the fan inlet of a central HVAC system to deactivate or remove airborne pathogens. The product is also Intertek-certified to be installed in an air purifier or a fan. The product has an automatically resettable fuse and is unaffected by magnetic fields, provides consistent ion concentrations over 20 to 30VAC, and works with 120 to 240VAC with accessory transformer Model 1601-01. The product is made in the USA and is covered by a 5-year warranty when installed, operated, and maintained per manufacturer’s instructions. Please refer to safety instructions in manual for more information.

Innovative Bioanalysis conducted laboratory tests in a sealed 1,280 cubic feet (ft3) chamber per BSL-3 standards. A 4.03 x 106 TCID50/mL (Median Tissue Culture Infectious Dose per milli-Liter) of the SARS-CoV-2 virus was nebulized into the chamber. Air samples were collected at 15, 30, and 60 minutes with a fan circulating air in the chamber at a normalized airflow rate of 1 cubic foot per minute (cfm) per square foot of floor area. After 60 minutes of exposure, the greenfan® bipolar ionizer reduced the SARS-CoV-2 virus concentration to 0.0985 x 106 TCID50/mL or 97.6% compared to initial concentration or 94.1% compared to the control.
